Stopping straight problem

When I come to a stop I sometimes have difficulty keeping the bike balanced and straight and it almost seems like the steering is too light. I do not have this difficulty on my other bikes. But the other bikes are not cruisers either. So maybe its just me. Just looking for what others experience.
